ANIMAL KINGDOM! =D

day began with us waking up early~ i woke up... was the only one awake... then as "usual" (usual being me doing it at home... when i was a CHILD!), i went upstairs to kacau my "parents" xD then all packed packed packed, stuffed things into car and all~ and we're ready to hit the road! and WEEEE!! bfast at drive thru! (or was it yday? duno :p) i love drive thru ^^

and here we are~

this baby calf and his friends were viciously naughty! when i took the food out of the small packet i was holding to feed one of them, he bit off the packet and dropped it, causing it spill on the floor~!!! no patience grrr!!! then someone thought someone threw the packet in after feeding -__-''''

next stop : kangaby(kangaroo+wallaby) sanctuary~!!! sorry i din duno how to differentiate them... is it just really size?? ^^'

seeeeeee they're everywhere~!!!! *ran around trying really hard to make friends~ maklumlah they are westerners, dont speak my gibberish english :p*

ling's first try backfired.... xD they probably suffer from over-eating anyway~ with all the tourists everyday...... @.@

apparently, south east asia is know as home to exotic animals like tigers and elephants..... hmmm.....

the smiling elephants!! somehow when i saw their faces i saw smiles..... hmmm ^^

oh went to see the tiger show too, but no photography/videos allowed.... =(

after a long day, bye bye aussie zoo.... =(

stopping by at glass house mountains!! guys if u are free, must go check the history out its really nice!!!! ^^ there's mt beerwah, mt coonowrin, mt ngungun, mt tibrogargan, mt tibberoowuccum, mt beerburrum, tunbubudula the twins mountains =D, and mt miketeebumulgrai~ all these are known as the glass house mountains ^^ too many pics, so i'll just upload in photobucket ^^

dinner~!! we're FINALLY back to brisbane T.T THANK U SO MUCH ABANG JEFF FOR DRIVING SO TIRED!!!!!! m-.-m u get my full respect!

dinner~!!! at a japanese restaurant called SONO~ atmosphere very classy, and obviously food very mahal -.- i was warned not to ~~react~~ embarass them when i saw the price -.-' FINE~ act like classy princess and ate their money out hmph! :p anyway the food is fabulously good. i hope jogoya is something like this ;)

ling and jeff with one of the sets we ordered~ mmmmwaahhh!!! simply delicious!!!

as i said previously, i love luuvvv lofff lophs muaxxx!!! eumundi market ^^ its such a fun place no one can miss if going to brisbane =D exactly as they claimed: "they make it bake it grow it sew it" =D

when we got down the car, it was AWFULLY cold!!! though 15'C, the wind blew quiet strongly and stupid me, wearing the thinnest jacket i had coz i saw the burning sun, hugged myself tightly freezing!!! *brrrr* sis gave me her red scarf which helped bit and luckily when walked inside, it was a lil warmer coz there were MANY PPL! =D we even saw the aboriginals (forgive me if this sounds rude) performing their music ^^ was very tempted to buy their cd xD

next stop!! australian nougat company!!! fresh nougats for sale, anyone?? ^-^

looks small? the factory is actually inside and underground or behind sort~ ^^but all is in this tiny-looking company ^^'

see the back fo the counter?? thats where they do packaging and stuffs ^^ the making process is on the left which surprisingly i didnt take a pic of... or did i mistaken this with the macadamia nut factory?..... anyway, nougats again!!! xD but kena cheated of the hard ones which isnt hard at all... xDDDDD

then~~ THE GINGER FACTORY! claimed the world's largest but i dont know okay~ the smell of ginger is overpowering all over!!! and hell the place is big!!!! there's ginger everything. from jams to ice creams to baths..... T.T

fuhhh~! after satisfying meal, we headed back to hit the beach!!! ^^

[UPDATES BY SIS] Somehow, with the flashbacks of the hypothermia that nearly killed three idiots on a quiet Castaway beach, the taste of hot tom yam started to materialize. Indeed, it was Noosa Thai and the fools who failed to start up the darn outdoor heater that came to rescue. =)
now HOWWWWW could i have forgotten the fools -_____- kept fighting the cold by playing ds (LOL) and when we got a table, the darn heater wasnt working!! after moving it here and there and this and that (ppl were crowding the place), finally warmth!!! T____T but for western country, its good to find a place that serves GOOD tomyam soup! better than the ones in thailand!!!!!! how can this happen??!!!

then ~~lari~~ drove keluar to find the giant pelican ^^

Noosa!! -DAY ONE-

weeee~~ noooosah!! nooooooosah boosah koosah doosah poosah!!! weeee~~~~!!!

due to some dispute the night before, i had a terrible migraine the next morning when i woke up~ bad bad bad~ never felt that way before.. weird... was watching olympics when jeff went to fetch ling home.. couldnt see the words clearly, as if there's loads of tiny black dots.. when i was bathing, it hit me that half of my body was going numb..... *oh fuck* then after coming out and quickly got dressed, yup i kena. couldnt move the other half anymore~ bad start~ slept for 2hrs or so only hit the road.. was still nauseous in car and vomited the last time when jeff turned back to get ling's reading stuffs~ sigh~ so slept in the car, not knowing that it was very jam out there.. kept waking up and sleeping back (anyone who has migraine aura, try this. sleep, sleep, and sleep again if u keep waking up) somehow the pain gradually faded away.. reached morgans for lunch.. weird, but the fresh fish and the sea smell somehow calmed me down.. xD then went to toilet with ling to see if i need to vomit or not... so damn tired.. sigh~ brain and stomach were both empty~~

so anyways~

this is morgans! they get their seafood from behind! eh wait.. no what i meant is that the sea is just behind this shop!! so yes, all their seafood is fresh! =D that sea smell ~ahh~

this is where we stopped and sat to have our lunch~~ ^^ the ibis birds are everywhere!!!

after another short while of driving, we finally reached!!! the place we stayed was really really utterly AWESOME!!!! made me took videos alot instead of pictures....... xD anyway, its really one of my dream house~ not to mention how cheap it is!! ^^ for the vids, go check my photobucket when i'm done uploading hehehe~~

by the time we reached, it was already evening~~ fuh~ so after unpacking and running everywhere out of excitement, we headed out for dinner ^^

montezuma~~!! we finally decided on this family restaurant that serves mexican food after roaming around (so cold!!!!)

FUH!!! everyone looked at each other with a smile of relief..... oh yes turns out that most of the customers AND the workers were looking with concern ^^ LOL

rating: SANGAT SEDAP!!!!! not sure if its very mexican since i've never been to mexico to try, but the food's so delicious!!!! but the portion was big so we ended up having to take away the remains (couldnt let such good food to end up in the bin, could we? ^^)

then we went to ta pau ice cream!!! huaaa can kill! ^^ so cold eat ice cream smore!! but really, all 3 weeks i was there, i ate ice cream at least 4 times xD twice in cold rocks, so darn yummy ^^ forget the coldness, taste the sweetness *drools*

then then~~! since it's night, there wasnt much to do so we headed back~

seriously, can i even finish this blog soon?... 22 days there... 22 posts?? xD my pics seriously damn lot xD and since i'm a talkative person and not much of my friends wanna hear me "brag", brag on blog lor hor..... i'm so free anyway.... LOL

so so~!!!! i finally got back my memory of whats this:

its the beef+potato i ate for early lunch/brunch at indooroopilly's food court!!!! i'm correct this time right??? its from erm... buckin' beef and i still rmber jeff ate er.. hanaichi or hanamichi... the japanese fast food but comes in a bowl! =D and sis had this something that has really nice mashed potato and i had this!!

was soooo full due to the excessive carb i took... but after few steps i saw some nice-lookin food at a counter nearby xD so!! we walked around, went into this shop sellin really really cheap clothes (cheap for them lah... i was still erm.... *coughmultiplybythreecough*) and i think its this day that abang jeff pegi cut hair!! my memory still served me well *bangga* xD due to shopping and weather, and also i wanted to try good food.. xD we stopped by for tea! =D

owhh kay.. ~~i forgot where were we~~C'est la Vie~! its something like shingle's inn... just look more.. classy... ^^ ANYWAY! as you can seeee~ jeff has ice tea, i had caramel slice (delicious for the first few bites, sweeter and sweeter then...) and tea! WOW! do i feel classy LOL!!!! luckily didnt put much sugar in tea coz it can balance the sweetness of the caramel slice i had xD sis had this erm.......i forgot... doesnt look significant... xD see i know how to order more than her! xDDDD *dont kill me pls xD*

3RD DAY!!!

we hit the town for dinner! believe it or not, its just 5pm+ but the city is.....
sorry~~ blurry but still nice.. to me.. hahahahah~

so the the place we had our dinner was this place called JoJo's
which is situated somewhere in the mall but is accessible through escalator from the outside~ its more like a classy foodcourt except that it isnt a "court" but there are selections of food e.g my fav. wood fire pizza (YUMMY!!) and steaks and thai food etc etc.. once you get up there, its a counter where you take a number and wait to be served~ BUT, its not all! while waiting, you can help yourself with some drinks at the bar at the side~
oh hey! did i mention there's this reeeaaaally cute bartender who has the perfect look of a british boy except for the lack of erm... mummy's-pivk-cheek-boy feature :p oh hell am i stereotyping the british boys now? xD but anyway i still like 'guai zhai' xD

anyway this is what we ate! erm... supreme(?) and garlic pizza and pad thai~!

then we hit starbucks! where i got to know a really friendly barista (name's elliot) who's more than willing to add extra cream for us :p you'll know what i'm saying later.. weeeee~~ while enjoying the cold starbucks during winter, we walked around~

the building behind us is actually a casino~!! proof of me being there... yes i went into a casino! apparently their age limit is >18 so.. :p but i didnt put any bet lah~ not the casino betting type anyway~ and there wasnt many ppl in when i was there~

the bridge between the busy heart of city and the quiet serene park ^^ and see!! they have their own walkway and bicycle way!!!! T____________T

and a pic on the bridge~! the river behind us, the brisbane river, would be the place for Riverfire Festival which was held on Aug 31 this year WHICH i went WHICH will be updated later.. ^^

also, this park has a beautiful walkway which is designed tunnel-like and is decorated with flowers and all... i'd think of getting married there xD

The First Day~

fyi, this is during the sunrise viewed at horizon.. so the left side of me is pretty much pitch black... aint this beautiful???? my heart melted as i enjoyed the view T^T

hua~!!!! reached there at around.... 6am? but due to luggage-waiting and all, i got to waiting hall at near 7am, where once i turned on my phone, my sis and her bf's apology messages crowded my inbox... they were late, but i didnt need to wait long too~ and btw, 8 frigging hours!! i am *still* wondering how did i survive it.... damn damn DAMN me for not wearing a watch... seems forever you know... sigh... so much to go visit my sis T__________T oh back to me in airport! =D i sat there waited for them for like.. 10-15mins like that? and i caught glimpses of a "short, fat, and no fun" lady (XD!!!!!) running towards me with her hands like penguin..... LOL!!! *looks clearly* omg that lady is my sis *shhhh~!!* weeeeeeeee~~ no one could understand how my heart jumped happily from one country to another when i saw her hehehehe

OH!! did i mention how *clean and fresh* the air was when i got down from the plane?? well i was wearing...... tube... shirt... coat... 3piece! imagine yourself living in malaysia with that hot humid dirty air... and the moment you stepped onto coolangatta, fresh breeze hits every inch of you~ THE ULTIMATE JOY! but when i was in waiting hall, the coldness finally crept into me and i put on my jacket and my fav. purple pashmina ^^ well just for fun coz i didnt wanna carry them also.. xD

oh ya hor back to my darling sister.. xD SO! i finally got into the car~ bf aka jeff brought us to hungry jacks (the burger king here) drive thru for bfast (i really needed it -____-)

after about 40mins, we finally reached:

WRONG! thanx for correcting, ah gor! ^^) [its] Logan Hyperdome (!!.. which i dont exactly know is where.. xD) for lunch!

1st eatery to be recommended~
you'd drool like mad when you see the wide selection of cakes and pies and brownies they have~ ^^

walked around did some window shopping and all~ hey i was still not keen on spending as my brain converter was still functioning greatly~ xD

dinner was early~ its always early because by 6 or 7pm, the whole place becomes dark... people start going home by 5pm... workers stop working by 4pm...... so my dinner pretty much was around 6? but gradually became later as my appetite has its clock set to later time back in msia...

2nd eatery not to be missed~!
hog's breath~! there's another similar which is called pig n' whistle~ i still dont get their fascination towards ah net (refer to bangkok trip)~...

then jeff n ling brought me to my 1st coldest place ever, the top of the mountain~!!! brrr~~~ -____-'''

hmm... now.. digging up the past is like.... *can someone ram my head against the wall?*

nah la aint that bad~ :p after all, i have the youngest brain in dr. kawashima's class! xD

so yeah.. this is what i remembered....

I WOKE UP LATE! LOL and i'm darn freakin serious xD set alarm at 10 but ended up being yelled up by mummy who got back from work seeing the lazy pig still sleeping... what to do, mum?? i slept late after packing my luggage ma!!! (well truth is i couldnt sleep coz i've had this habit of sleeping at 5am in the morning... xD shhh!!!!!!)

its okay.. so far so good... mum(followed to lcct due to excessive worry) and i were supposed to leave home at 4pm to reach kl sentral at 5pm then lcct at 6pm coz international check-in counters open 3hours prior to flight... and my flight was at 2125~ so dilly dally bit bit... ate as much as i can (mum ta pao my fav. char kuey teow and some wade's [indian snack]) coz i wasnt gonna buy anything to eat during my 8hr flight ^^' yes the kiamsiap-ness ^^' left at 4pm precisely... reached kl sentral by taxi... and straight away boarded the bus -____- then reached lcct at around 5.30pm.... waited forever for the counter to open -____________________-

was around 6.45pm when the counter opened and *still* gotta wait for PEOPLE to attend the counters wtf darn stupid with all the waiting waiting~ by the time everything's done, it was around 7pm~ so we had our dinner at mcdonalds because after that asian kitchen incident, i refuse to go there anymore! @.@ [refer to bangkok trip] then had a long chat with mum~ most of the time being me nagging her for all her wrong attitudes xD went into departure hall at 8pm+ sis called me just to kacau kacau but i actually could hardly hear what she said -.-' did force her to sleep but oh well, she didnt listen to me which ended up.... continue this later :p

my 8hrs of flight!!!! seriously ppl, if you gonna sit in plane for so fucking long, get a night flight. but darn, DARN me whose brain was alrd set on sleeping at 5am which is aussie's 7am WHICH is the TIME I WAS GONNA REACH............. you guessed it... yes... my eyes were wide open though it was dark and everyone's sleeping.... darn DARN! -____________- i tried to close my eyes and got some rest but still... no sleeping....
